Drawing on this practice and in view of the current situation worldwide and in Austria, these workshops will from now on address the following topic in cooperation with the Faculty of Philosophy and History at the University of Innsbruck: <em class=\"false\">Fascism here and now<\/em>. In this long-term project, we invite all those interested to join us in examining theories of fascism in order to be able to react to our present moment more adequately.<\/p>\n<p>These workshops are led by different people on an irregular basis. The series will be kicked off by the organizers themselves: Andreas Oberprantacher (Professor of Philosophy, University of Innsbruck), who will present and discuss a short excerpt from Jason Stanley\u2019s book <em class=\"false\">How Fascism Works: The Politics of Us and Them<\/em>, now available in German, and Nina Tabassomi (Director TAXISPALAIS), who will present and discuss a passage from <em class=\"false\">Late Fascism: Race, Capitalism and the Politics of Crisis <\/em>by Alberto Toscano. <\/p>\n<p>Prior knowledge is not required for the workshop, and active participation is voluntary.
