In times of crises and wars, can they become places of social support, providing a service in addition to exhibiting? Why did the cultural scene not raise its voice when children in need were denied residence in Austria, and why is it doing so now, when the majority of society agrees anyway that help is needed? These questions have led us to initiate a cooperation with Ankyra \u2013 Center for Intercultural Psychotherapy and other art\/dance therapists, as well as our own art education team to open the TAXISPALAIS for five weeks as a safe space for a series of children\u2019s workshops. The workshops especially address children from all countries who have experienced flight and migration, but all children are invited to join and have the opportunity to experience and articulate themselves through the arts. These workshops are designed as multi-day events that will take place on the same day of the week over five weeks. Participants\u2019 artistic exchanges will remain confidential. School classes and kindergartens are also invited to contact our art education team. In this context, one-time appointments can also be booked upon request.<\/p>\n<p><strong>All workshops are free of charge. Ein Ort, an dem sie einfach Kind sein d\u00fcrfen \u2013 kreativ, spielerisch und frei, mit Freude und Leichtigkeit zum Auftanken \u2013 und an dem sie ihren eigenen inneren Schatz (wieder-)entdecken und ihre eigenen Ressourcen st\u00e4rken k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n<p>6-9 years, maximum 12 participants<br \/>\n3 sessions, 2 hours each, Saturdays, 10 a.m.-12 pm<br \/>\nDates: June 11, June 25 and July 9<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Thekla Kischko:<br \/>\n<strong>Dance like nobody\u2019s watching<br \/>\n<\/strong>In diesem Workshop setzen wir uns mit vergangenen und gegenw\u00e4rtigen K\u00f6rperbildern auseinander und genie\u00dfen die Vielfalt unterschiedlicher K\u00f6rper.<\/p>\n<p>12-14 years, maximum 6 participants<br \/>\n4 sessions, 2 hours each, Mondays, 4-6 pm<br \/>\nDates: June 13, June 20, June 27 and July 4<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>F\u00fcr Schulklassen bieten wir im Zeitraum von 7. Juni bis 8. Juli einen Workshop zum Thema <strong>Gutes K\u00f6rpergef\u00fchl<\/strong> an.
