Dreiste Delphine, rennende H\u00e4user und die letzte Wandertaube
\n<\/strong>Comics published in Le Monde diplomatique<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n

What potentialities does the comic medium possess in the context of a monthly political newspaper? What forms of artistic narration can comics use to interrogate the pitfalls of politics and everyday life? Since 2005, Karoline Bofinger has invited artists and illustrators to create a full-page comic for the back page of the German edition of Le Monde diplomatique. For the exhibition Dreiste Delphine, rennende H\u00e4user und die letzte Wandertaube<\/em>, Bofinger has selected comics that are related to themes addressed at the TAXISPALAIS. Considering this, how do the comics interact with the GODDESSES exhibition that surrounds them? What resonances and dissonances arise between works that dissect the present using words and images, and those that attempt to imagine a different logic of being?<\/p>\n
